Thank God the surprise party for Wan Chen went well last night.
ok la, got a little flaw la but still well enough la...

One month before Wc's Bday :

I started planning, which includes inviting her friends, order cakes ( i ordered cupcakes from an online bakery in Kuching ), gathered some friends to make her present.

Designed four-leaf-clover cupcakes for WC bday cake as she loves four-leaf-clover and ask the person to make it.

The bday plan in brief:

Irene, Peter, Li Chin, Ai Ling and Xiao Feng played an important role in 'booking' her on her bday night and bring her to a selected cafe to celebrate her bday.
Those who're going to be the surprise guests will have to lie that either they haven't back yet or is busy and cannot celebrate with her.
And on that night Wc will arrive early while the guests will arrive later.
Irene will bring out Wc's car key for me with the lame reason that she forgot to take her camera from Wc's car.
And we'll all fill the inside of her car with balloons and went up to surprise her after that.
And when everything ended, she'll come out and get another surprise when she sees her car.

The Week before WC's Bday :

Went back Kuching 3 days before her Bday and yet I couldn't tell her that I'm back ady and have to lie that I'm still at JB. T.T
~~But nvm la, I'm good in lying and managed to persuade her into believing me =P~~
I guess she muz be rather disappointed as most of them rejected her when she asked them out.

I think my Hp credit increased double the amount i used in one month. T.T
Have to confirm everything with everyone, booked tables and get everything sorted out.
And Fen nearly freaked me out as she nearly told WC about our plan.
Luckily i managed to cover it up with more lies of cuz. =p

cover up the stars we made for her with anything i can find in my house.
Yes i know i'm always last minute...

The present is kinda old-fashioned but hey, I think WC could use some good lucks nowadays right?

The morning of WC's Bday :

I'm having butterflies flying everywhere inside my body.
Ok la i admit i'm pretty nervous.
My heart missed a lot of beats for that morning + afternoon alone bcos with 18 people going, its hard to keep everyone from spilling the beans.
And i nearly die on the spot when Wan Chen told me in Msn that her housemate, Wei Kui say that maybe i might turn up and give her a surprise and even make a bet with her that if he wins she'll have to treat him for steambot ( lion open big mouth eh )
I managed to convince her that I'm still at JB. ( Feel so bad for betraying her trust. heheh...)

ok la, i didn't expect much also.

so many things not yet done.... T.T

The Bf came over to my house in the aftrnoon and we started to pump balloons.
we pumped around 70-80 balloons and it wasn't easy as it seemed to be. T.T
I pumped 1 balloon ady complain my arms hurt.
So the bf ends up pumping 2/3 of the balloons for me. =p

7.00pm :

The bday gal who was supposed to arrive at 7pm turned out later than the guests as she was caught in traffic jam.
So everything has to be postponed to 8pm. >.< and WC accidentally saw Steven's car parked nearby Kado's cafe and luckily Tammy managed to cover up with some lies. T.T After the bday gal arrived and went upstairs ( we purposely choose the cafe that is on the 2nd floor so that the bday gal canot see us ), we fast fast come out from our hiding place and get to work.

With the help of everyone we managed to transfer all the balloons from Jo's car to Wc's car in no time.
And luckily it filled up all her car.

I get everyone to fill in a little card with Bday wishes after finished with the car.

We then take out 1 cupcake each and carried them upstairs to surprise the bday gal.

By chance i get to know Wc's wish to use her '23' candles on her bday while chatting with her in Msn.
She told me she dun have cake to put her little candles on and she wanted to blow from those candles.
And she wanted to wait for me to come back so that she can use them on the cake i bought.
But i managed to convince her to brg her little candles along that night. =)

one cupcake each and the extra will be carried by the poor bf who is also the photographer for the night.... =p

All went up....

and we surprised her pretty much. =D

Tammy, Nicholas, Angelia, Michael and Steven went back earlier so we continued our dinner and it's when we took out the cupcakes then we realised that they didn't take their share of cupcake away. -.-lll

I sneaked out with Jo before everything ends and hang all the small cards on Wc's car.

and then :'Eee??!! why my car lidat one?'

lalala.... =p kek dao leh?

managed to burst some of the balloons to make space for herself inside the car.

gave us one balloon each

then baru can drive back home... =p

Little did she knows what happens next..........

yes, The evil me tied a small can behind her car. =P

Laugh till cannot tahan ok....

a few moments after that she called me : ' why is there a tin behind my car de T.T so siasoi. '
me : ' That's my last sursprise for you. wahahahahaha~'

Ok, I know i'm bad. I still can't help laughing when i recall back. XD

Update :

made a simple momento for Wc as her after-bday present. =)
not-so-pretty but ok la.....

I just bought a cup-cake from Cheery Coco, near the bitter-gourd soup stall.

peek-a-boo...i see u, strawberry ! and i'm going to eat u !

It's Jo who noticed it first.
It looks kinda tempting with a strawberry hidden inside and sprinkled icing sugar on top and the price seems reasonable ( Rm2.90 for a big big cup-cake ) so i happily bought it back for a try.

And it's name is BIG BIG CUP CAKE. -___-

And the taste ?

Yummy ! ^^

Inside consist of HALF a strawberry ( kena tipu, it looks like one big strawberry ler... ), whipped cream and blueberry jam ! And the cake is still a bit cold and moist cuz it's refrigerated so the whipped cream tasted superb with the cake.

half only...haih. But the strawberry is big enuf. ^^

It's not too sweet overall. The sweetest is the blueberry jam. but i see no problem in eating it with the cake as the cake is not very sweet. just ngam ngam good. hehe...

I'm so going to buy it next time to ease my sweet-tooth. ^^
I do feel happy after attacking it.
