Palm beach 7-8 June

Went to Palm Beach with Jo n 2 of his frens ( Gouki n his Gf Sook Fang ) for 2D1N.

Palm Beach is located at Sematan, about 100+km from Kuching, i guess..

We start the journey at around 10.30am by Gouki's car ( car petrol increase ma...)
and reached the place around 2pm ( we had lunch halfway )..
We had a heavy lunch at Sematan ( a small town ) of crab, sotong, vegie n soup...

At Sematan

Gouki booked 2 rooms ( we only knew that the last min.. -_-lll ), Rm180 for a Quadruplex chalet.
And so Jo n i had de whole room to ourselves...

The views there are so-so...
no clear blue water, no white fine sand and the sky is somehow not-so-blue either...
*dismay*
But then the room is comfy enough la...
We had free dinner and breakfast voucher, not bad already lar.....

So, after some rest, we set off to the beach and play with it's damn salty water..
The water is SO SO SO salty !
Saltier that Lang Tengah's water...yer....
And we had great time there...
I've never played so happily in sea water before ( not including snorkelling )
I can ride my own "horse" in the sea....heheh....
And he's sooo nice not to complain... =D

Well...dun get cheated by the photos i took...my cam tends to cheat ppl...

After dinner buffet, Jo and i stayed in our room.
We've set de alarm to half hour later ( to walk on the beach ) since he wants a short rest.
But then...
the bed turned out to be sooo comfortable so we snooze n snooze de alarm till in the end we juz off it and decided to stay indoors instead.
staying in room is not really a waste la..... =p
Better than feeding the damn stupid mosquitoes...

We woke up at 6am and waited till 8am then we went to have our free breakfast.
It rained for the whole morning since the previous night...
sigh...
so we juz camwhore till my cam's battery went dead.
Then the guys went and have a swim in the sea and we girls juz sit and watch...
The sea is not that inviting to me....

We checked out around 11.30am.
We stop by Bau for lunch on the way back.
And visited the Tasik Biru, one of the attraction in Bau.
It was once a gold mine.
The lake is blue due to excessive Acetate ( if i'm not mistaken ) and so it is dangerous to swim and fish there...

We went back around 3pm and i sleep on his bed till it's time to send me back...

The trip is short but sweet... =)
