Pulau Lang Tengah (4/5 - 6/5) - Day 3

It was our last day on the island.
After breakfast we checked out and leave the island around 8.30am.

Taking some 'last' shots before leaving....

Will miss u......

High tide in the morning.....

need help?

we continued our sleep in the boat.....

Our bus was waiting for us when we reached the Jetty.
We booked the bus for one whole day since we'll only be leaving at night.
So we can go sight-seeing around the town of KT before going back.
And we only payed Rm20 per person...cheap enuf...=)

reached the land of KT...

Inside our bus.....

The first destination for that day is the famous Crystal Mosque.
It is inside Taman Tamadun Islam.
and along de way there are small replicas of mosques fr around the world...

The crystal mosque can be seen from afar....

Welcome to Taman Tamadun Islam

Actually the Crystal Mosque is juz a metaphor, not really made from crystal lor......
One of our coursemates, Nadia who stayed in KT came and join us.
But she left after finish visiting the mosque wif us as her dad needs to use de car.

We need to cover our Aurat before entering the mosque.
That means 'mummify' ourselves with the jubah n tudung ( for the ladies ) provided.

And I introduce you a newly converted muslim.

A big applause for her please.......

Our next stop is The State Museum.
It is the largest museum in Malaysia and resembles UTM in terms of design. ( shud be UTM resembles the museum )
Anyway, it is build according to the traditional architecture of KT....
The weather is quite hot that day and i reli dun have the mood to visit lor....
All i want to do is sleep in the comfortable bus......

The State Museum

Somehow it gives me a peaceful feeling being there....

After getting bored with the display outside, we proceed to the gallery inside.
The entrance fee is Rm2 and no camera is allowed inside.
There's nothing much to see anyway...
It is really boring despite the building being so big.
Cultural Village n Sarawak Museum are far more interesting anytime.

At the entrance

We had lunch after that and proceed to the Tourist Information Centre in town to ask if there are anymore interesting place that we could visit.
They suggested us a few places such as the Batik factory, Floating mosque and Buruk Beach.

Mirrored Ceiling inside the Tourist info centre....be careful, ladies...

all sleeping like dead inside the bus until we reach our next destination....

There are nothing much to see at the Batik factory except watching a few workers spinning...
The batik there are also damn expensive.
a singlet made from batik can easily cost about Rm200 and the dinner dress can cost up to Rm800 and above....
So we made our move to the Floating Mosque a while after that.

The floating mosque

cheh.....lidat nia ma......

i dono wat are they doing.....

we juz sit underneath the tree shade waiting 4 de others

Really, there are nothing interesting to see at all...
my 1st impression is "ha? lidat oso call floating mosque liao??".....-_-lll
If hotel build on water then call floating hotel ; church build on water jiu call floating church lo...
so special meh?
nearly / all of us dun want to get down the comfortable bus...
but de bus driver off the aircond and 'forced' us to get down...ish...

After that we made a move to our final destination - Buruk Beach.
It was not really buruk like it's name la...but not really pretty oso lo...
The sand is coarse and brownish and dry.
The wind is quite strong there..

Some took bath at the bus terminal's bus stop as we're sticky and we wont be back for another 8 hours or more...
We had dinner at a nearby McD.
We celebrated the birthday of Karen, Chiou Yann n Choon Wah that night.
