Damai Beach 17-18April

Irene invited us over for a night stay at Damai Beach last Saturday ( to help her to surprise her bf for his bday )
and that explains why I'm back to Kuching earlier
( oh well the bf is doing good without me bothering him doing thesis now haha )


We set off to Damai in the evening whereas Peter, Irene and her family were already there since morning.
Peter doesn't know that we'll be going there and hence feeling down for the whole day hahaha.
Imagine having to spend ur romantic beach getaway with ur gf's family?
( on the side note, Jo asked me if i would like to accompany him n his parents to Melaka on his graduation day...erm. yes, i can totally feel how u feel, Peter. haha )

we arrived on the beach in time for sun set. yay!


Our mission is to dig holes and hide his present in one of the holes.
and we are to spell out 'Happy bday dear' on the beach later on using lights.

After we are done, we smsed Irene and we went for dinner, after them of course.
gave peter a surprise for showing up for dinner. =p

Got back to the beach to prepare the lights BUT it rained !!!
the plan is ruined. =(
and the restaurant dun allow us to use their electric. kiamsiap betul.
They had plan B for backup ( Im just kalafei only bcos i didnt joined them for their planning )
which is to give the surprise in his room.

Nearly get caught bcos we are outside their balcony when they came back from dinner.
but luckily it was dark. haha


Called Irene to tell her abt Plan B, which is to pull Peter out from the room.

Irene's mum is supposed to open the light switch when they are back, but she doesn't dare to. -.-
in the end xiao Feng and I waited until the candles almost burned out only I desperately called Irene to act now.
note to self : even if it's plan B, shud discuss everything in detail also.




Took video instead of photos bcos it's dark and hard to take photos in the dark unless u use flash.


another note to self : dont plan ur surprise in the dark if u want to have good photos. hahaha

woo~ 5 years and 7 months anniversary wor. *envy*

i guess i shud really learn how to take good photos in the dark. haha


the bday boy unwrapping his present Irene bought him

solar powered bluetooth. I nvr bought anything more than rm100 for the bf, needless to say 200+ *shame*

8 girls one guy in one room. luckily the room is big enough.
