Ok...enuf of craps...i know i'm disgusting...
but hey, i'm an expert in dungs after the 2 weeks stay in kampung ok...
I know how to differentiate animal's dung ler.....
something u cant learn in architecture. muahahaha....
We started searching for the owner of our house after 2 days of 'rest' since we cant get into the house without the owner's key and permission.
We got so many version of stories from the neighbors including rumors that our house owner has passed away...-_-lll
But then luckily we manage to find her at last.
interviewed a lot of people.....
and finally found Our house owner, Pn Ramlah Bin Nordin. still alive and healthy.. who said she passed away??
Pn Ramlah is 65 years-old and she has a good memory for an old woman.
She agreed to let us stay at the house and she'll move into the house with us ( she's currently staying with her daughter ) so that we can stay inside.
Besides, her children wanted us to live with her mum so that her mum will not be alone.
Well...it was nearly 1 week the owner baru move in...
so we cannot measure the inside of the house during the first few days.
We tried to measure and do what we can while waiting for the owner to move back home.
There's a lot of stuffs that need to be done within the two weeks' time.
We need to produce site plan, measure and draw out the whole house in detail ( erm...well...sometime we juz need to 'curi makan' in order to make life easier...=P ),
do rubbings ( trace out the cravings of the house ) and do a lot of interviews.

Our house...which is about 180+ years old..
It's super cool underneath the house during the afternoon compared to inside the house which is hot like hell due to the zinc roof.
The surrounding...there's an exterior toilet which we prayed that it's not the only toilet.

We managed to move in on the 5th day ( with heavy heart ).
It's an old old house and as we've heard the neighbor said that "noises" are sometime heard,
we decided to stay for a maximum of 3 days and moved back to Kak Mimi's house.
We don't want to risk our life juz for the sake of Measured Drawings... =P
Kel and i cleaned the whole house on the day we moved in.

Chiou Yann and i are lucky enuf that we dont need to climb it.
It's very very dusty up there and hot.
The serambi is soooo damn hot that it's impossible to get any work done in the afternoon.
I can start sweating the moment i finish bath.
But the best thing about staying inside the house u measure is that u can take bath anytime you like. Plus the bathroom is clean. That's good enuf for a clean-toilet-freak like me.
And when there's some mistake or something u're unsure of when drawing, u can always get up and measure again. ( unless u're lazy =P )
And another good thing about staying there is that it's only a 5 minute walk to the balai raya ( where we have our lunch and dinner ) compared to the 15 minutes of drive from Kak Mimi's house. And we can always walk to the grocery shops to buy food. =P
Besides that, the hp coverage is full there. yay ^^!
But somehow i missed Kak Mimi's house as she used to serve us delicious breakfast every morning. sigh.
We need to manage our own breakfast whilst staying at our rumah kajian as Pn Ramlah is too old to cater for us.
The 1st night at the old house is ok.
There isn't any ghost around. heheh...
We all sleep and do our work in the serambi area, which is the 'safest' place for us.
Well, i do admit i need ppl to accompany me to the toilet at night for the first few nights.
But after that i'm starting to get ok by going to the toilet myself. =P
Pa'an, Aida, Caom and Asrof stayed with us and that makes the house less eerie.
We extended the stay till 1 week due to some circumstances.
We moved out on pin-up day, which is the 2nd last day of measured drawing.
We managed to get hold of some old photographs from Pn Ramlah's daughter as a proof of some deleted works
I know it's messy..
We have to do our work on the floor...that is so so uncomfortable as we often suffer leg cramps and backache after a while.

We had some crit seasons with Pn Jess...
Uncle Bea, an old, funny and crazy guy who's a fren of Pn Jess helped us a lot throughout the 2 weeks.
Ah well...sometimes he does talk more than my liking...but at least better than Ar Hong. =P
We dont forget to have fun with the kampung people while doing our work....
erm...im boiling porridge with him dat time so didnt join in. =p
nice Arc at Seri Menanti, which is a royal capital...so sad i didnt get to visit the palace. =(
And well...I don't forget to camwhore when i'm bored...=P
by the window... and even Ariq's CLK ( cute little kancil....lol )
Even went to the extend of setting timer but still x sempat....=.=
